Where are all the social people?

Everyone talks about how lonely people are, how out of touch everyone seems going about their daily lives.  Yet when I look around, all I see are people talking on the phone, texting everybody's in contact but nobody is communicating. I think we have forgotten the human element. We communicate face-to-face a lot more efficiently then we do over text up to  90% of all human communication is done through different modalities than speech.

We communicate more with her body language, our faces and expressions even our tone communicates more than what we actually say.The words are essentially meaningless in comparison to the rest of our communication skills.

I believe that communication can hugely impact or severely limit a person's entire lifestyle  even their life and I plan to change that. I am going to change the way people communicate with each other and try to bring better understanding to the rules of civilized communication. Hopefully for the betterment of everyone involved.
To that end I'm going to begin a series of courses explaining how humans communicate and my best understanding on how to most efficiently convey your wishes and personality to other people. I'll have more on that for you later on.

Focus is power

Focus is the key to making anything happen in this life. No one can do this for you. You have to do this. I love a quote I found attributed to Anthony Robbins.

"Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives."

I love his work and would encourage anyone wanting to get a better handle on your internal motivation and determination to get his book Awaken the Giant Within : How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny!

Your reality is really only your reality

You may be having trouble seeing the other side of an argument. You may be wondering why can't (X) get it when it is right there in front of them?  Take a moment and remember everything you see is filtered through your conscience and subconscience mind before you act on the information coming in. So you can look at something with someone and literally see two different realities. Take time and think that through.

Winning at life is as simple as ABC

Winning in life or anything else is like baking a cake if you have a good recipie then you will get great results if you follow it. I have a poster hanging on my wall for years that I used to quiz the kids on and still try to create action based on the list that is presented in alphabetical order.

Here is my take on the ABCs of life.

A  Avoid negative people, things and habits.
This is your chance to nurture your dream. In the begining it is very easy to squash your dreams with one negative moment. You can never know if that was the one thing that would change your life forever. Simply avoid the negative.  I am not advocating pie in the sky wishing, keep your eyes open and feet firmly on the ground.

B Begin today, yesterday is a regret and tommorrow may never come.

C Control yourself, your space and your time. If you do not, someone will control them for you. Do not let your control go. It is horribly hard to get control again once it is given away.
